Tuesday's Children

My name is Brandon Combs and I am the Executive Director of the 25-year-old Tuesday’s Child. We help parents establish and maintain strong, positive relationships with their children from the earliest stages and help children, especially those at risk for failure, to enter school ready to learn.

We engaged Bill Himmelstein two years ago on the recommendation of two of our board members who knew him well. We had been having trouble dealing with our landlord as well as wanted to find a suitable alternative. Right away, Bill was able to bring leverage to our talks with our current landlord that really leveled the playing field and truly mended the relationship. We searched the market for what our needs were, and found out not only were they being met at our current location, but that what we were asking for was not attainable elsewhere in the market place.

Bill was able to convince our current landlord to give us a rate of $10 psf Gross and put an additional $100,000 into upgrading our space. Bill was always available when we needed him, always followed through on what he said he was going to do, and most importantly, found us the only landlord in the city willing to give us what we needed. He has also been a great supporter of our organization, attending our annual fund raisers as well as various other events. His knowledge of the market, professionalism, and the people skills he used to first mend the relationships with our difficult landlord and then work with him to achieve incredibly favorable lease terms was sincerely appreciated by myself and our board.
