Easterseals provides Early Learning and Disability services for people in Chicagoland. Our CEO met Bill Himmelstein through the Titan 100 Program for C-level executives at just the right time, as our lease was coming due and we found out at the last-minute that we were unable to renew. This was very stressful, as it was essential for us to secure a new location within 30 days to ensure uninterrupted delivery of our Teen Family Support and Family Support Services. We were beyond thrilled with Sandy Macaluso’s diligence and rapid execution as within two weeks, she identified an ideal option within our target budget and proceeded to finalize a lease!
Sandy was able to get us beneficial occupancy built into the lease to mitigate our moving costs. The new location also included complimentary parking for staff during business hours—an especially valuable benefit in downtown Rockford. As a nonprofit, we required a cost-effective solution, ideally furnished, given that our existing furniture was no longer suitable. I’m not sure we would have been able to achieve all of this without Sandy’s hard work and expertise. The new space is also within an established property that offers high-quality management services, ensuring a smooth transition and long-term support for our operations.
