Facing Forward to end Homelessness

My name is Rev. Doug Bradshaw and I am the Executive Director of Facing Forward to End Homelessness. We were in need of new office space for our nonprofit, so I reached out to Tenant Advisory Group as they had been long-time supporters of our organization. Robret, our Director of Operations, took the reins on this assignment and was thrilled with the work from TAG’s point person, Cathy Jama. Cathy expertly guided us as we shifted our parameters during the course of our search which ended up with us securing a larger office space that fits us perfectly. Cathy negotiated the rental rate down almost 12% from the original asking rate while also getting us 3 months of free rent. Once we received the lease, Cathy, along with the attorney she referred to us, who reviewed it pro-bono, successfully pushed for the audit cap & capital improvement interest to be reduced, eliminated our responsibility for replacing the HVAC, and altogether removed the personal guarantee! Not only did Cathy assist with our real estate goals, but she was a great resource helping us find ancillary professionals such as the pro-bono attorney, as well as referrals to a furniture vendor, movers and an architectural firm that could assist us at competitive rates. Cathy becomes a true business partner for her clients and we were grateful to have her advocating on our behalf.
